Unable to find a luxury treacle pudding at any 'high class' store or delicatessen, Nancy Mahon decided to make one herself from an old family recipe dating back to the beginning of the last century.
Nancy started Aunt Alice Puddings by making luxury homemade Christmas puddings and traditional steamed puddings, and selling them at the famous Borough Market in London, shortly after it started as a retail market in 2000. She used the finest ingredients, often sourced from fellow traders at the Borough Market, and has received much attention from the national press and food magazines.
